Independence individual,

Thanks for your highlighting through the alternative way of posting your
message in soc culture malaysia.

Yes, experienced the same as you had experienced in soc culture singapore.

First time experienced the blockage of Google forum.

It appeared was blocked after Saturday, 12 mid night, Singapore time.

Maybe Google blocked it, because of the Trump Kim Summit meeting visit.

Maybe, after their meeting, they will turn on again and resumed it again,
by Google.

Google has a big base in Singapore.

They may have been asked by SG government to switch off the soc culture
singapore for that few days next week of Trump-Kim meetings.

If it as so, what is their reasons for it and why only soc culture
singapore, and not included of soc culture china?

Google has to give a good reason for their blockages. the banned content is
their bull-shits.

Well, the latest media says that Kim has arrived in Singapore in the early
afternoon Sunday and Trump will be in later 11 pm night.

It says more than 2500 media people already in Singapore covering the summit
meeting.

You can post your messages in soc.culture.china as it has more active
posters than soc.culture.malaysia.

Anyway, Independent individual, please work hard in your cleaning job,
okay!.

You should know how to clean up the places for the Trump-Kim summit meeting.

There many visitors are now in Singapore having

Even the fake Trump and fake Kim have arrived in Singapore.

They are having their busy time with the crowds yesterday at the Bugis
shopping mall!.

If you think the "banned content" was never the issue at all and was not
anything to do with the Summit, so what you think was the issue?

If you think it has nothing to do with the Summit, why is that Google chose
to shut it down on Saturday after midnight which is early Sunday morning of
the Summit's arrival date.

From look of the "banned content" in there, it is the constant bombardment
of the sale of sex service posted by posters from India.

They posted to soc.culture singapore through the use of their mobile phone
of their internet service providers which are: Barthi telecom and Reliance
internet service provider.

The thing is why despite of complaints, these internet service providers did
nothing to stop them. Why Google which owns the server of this form did not
delete them or block these posters from posting in?

What is the point of having "abuse reporting" in the websites on Google and
these internet service providers when they eventually did nothing of the
complaints reported?

Seriously, their relentless advertising of sales of sex services posted on
this soc culture singapore forum should be banned and blocked out by their
service providers and by Google, too.

Unfortunately, Google did nothing to remove them from this forum and yet now
said there was "banned content" in it.

Now, there was an increase of these sales of sex services of postings have
now been shifted to include soc.culture china.

Before there was few of these in soc culture china, but has now included as
they should know now that the soc culture singapore is closed to any
posting.

The question brings is why Google knowing that there were also "banned
content" in soc. culture china did not close down the soc culture china
forum?

The only reason is the "banned content" in soc.culture.singapore.
As far as I know, "banned content" was never the issue at all.
Also, there is another soc.culture.singapore.moderated.
Anyway, I may take up your suggestion of posting to soc.culture.china.
I don't think it has anything to do with the Summit, at least Google never
say so. Job description do not define me. The job market is super
competitive now.

This is a dark day for Sgp!
(Repressive means inhibiting or preventing the expression or awareness of

thoughts or desires.)

Singapore not repressive, political scene is outcome of elections: PM Lee

Technically soc.culture.singapore still exist.

See http://soc.culture.singapore.narkive.com/ You need to access it using

other platforms.

So, it really boils down to Google Group to restore the access to

soc.culture.singapore and to tell the people truthfully why they block the

access in the first place.

Based on the reason that Google Group gave of the "banned content" in the

newsgroup, it will be more likely they may not restore the access.

And since Google Groups is a company, the Sgp Government or PAP have nothing

much to do with it.

So maybe Google Groups itself is self-censoring.

As for the Trump-Kim Summit, other newsgroups are not censored, so why

soc.culture.singapore?
